Description

You can expect avery high quality, classic Brazilian espresso.Sweet with a low acidity and plenty of hazelnut. Accompanied by chocolate, caramel, and honey. Very smooth with a full body. The nutty, chocolatey flavor of this specialty coffee lingers on the tongue for a long time – absolutely delicious!

A very round, smooth, and creamy espresso with a long, nutty, chocolatey aftertaste. Served with milk, for example, in a cappuccino, it brings out lovely cocoa and nougat notes.

We're especially pleased that we source all of our Brazilian coffees from Sitio Boa Vista. Through this direct import, we support Mateus and his farm and can always guarantee the same quality. Better than Fairtrade coffee!

This direct import was made possible by Timo Plötz. Timo lives with his family in Brazil and promotes direct trade in his region, Sul de Minas. Many thanks also toTouton Specialty Coffees, who supported us with the import.

The Sitio Boa Vista of Mateus is located about 2 km from the town of Petunia, a district of the municipality of Nova Resende, in the south of the state of Minas Gerais, about 70 kilometers northwest of Guaxupe, one of the centers of Brazilian coffee production. The 3,000 inhabitants of the town and the surrounding farms have been fighting for years for the asphalting of the still unpaved section of the federal highway MG-446.

In the hilly region, at 950 - 1300 meters, there are mainly family-run farms and small businesses whose coffee plantations have great quality potential. This includes the 8-hectare Sitio Boa Vista, which is run by Mateus.
