Who is this course for?
Do you know the basics of coffee brewing but want to refine your coffee even further? In this course, you'll deepen your knowledge, perfect your technique, and develop your own, personalized brewing recipe with coffee coach Daniel Frank .

- The science behind coffee: You will learn exactly how extraction works and what role grind size, brewing temperature and time play.
- Technique in detail: Blooming, pour-over flow, filter paper – how small changes affect the taste.
- Brew Ratio & TDS: Understand and measurably improve strength and extraction.
- Experiment & fine-tune: You test specific variables to find your personal taste profile.
- Recipe development: Develop your perfect recipe – whether for V60, Kalita Wave or AeroPress.
- Course coffee included: 125g of a selected specialty coffee from our range for each participant.
Your goal after the course
You'll gain a detailed understanding of the key factors influencing coffee flavor and be able to adjust specific variables to permanently improve your cup quality. You'll gain the knowledge you need to confidently experiment with recipes and parameters in the future.
What you need for the course
✔️ A coffee maker of your choice (e.g. V60, Kalita Wave, AeroPress or Chemex)
✔️ Fresh coffee beans or the course coffee
✔️ A precise hand or electric coffee grinder
✔️ Filtered water or still mineral water
✔️ A precision scale for exact dosing
✔️ A kettle with a gooseneck and temperature setting
✔️ Optional: Refractometer or TDS meter for analysis
