Beschreibung

PachaMama is the coffee that has been in our range the longest. It will remain so forever because we are still enthusiastic about the taste, the entire project and, above all, the consistent quality that the producers deliver year after year.PachaMama coffee is even certified organic and climate neutral.

We decided to roast the PachaMama espresso a little darker to emphasize the chocolate and almond aromas and to soften the acidity. After the Plantation from India, the PachaMama is now our second darkest espresso roast and should especially appeal to friends of chocolatey coffees. A very well-rounded espresso with great sweetness!

This specialty coffee espresso is also particularly delicious as a cappuccino!

Traded transparently - Better than Fairtrade coffee!

Flavors:Dark chocolate, almond, dried fruit, little acidity and very nice sweetness

Body: medium to strong

Roast level: Espresso medium to dark

Recommended for:Portafilter, fully automatic machines, espresso makers

The "PachaMama" project

The aim of the project is to provide moral and financial support to the association and its small farmers around the village of Miguel Grau. The aim is to help them build sustainable, more effective and more democratic farms. Furthermore, care is taken to ensure that the green coffee is fairly traded, comes from organic farming, is harvested by hand and is processed gently in a natural way. The small-scale farming structures with fair market prices are to be expanded in order to prevent further rural exodus to the slums of the big cities. It is important that all areas of family life, such as education, development, health and the economy, are supported.

Direct Trade "Coffee directly from the farm"

The "PachaMama" project, together with roasters and experts, defines "direct trade" according to strict criteria: We eliminate the middlemen in the trade. The money is paid directly to the farmers and based on their performance, which means that we expect high-quality coffee (we only take the highest quality from healthy, well-cared-for, naturally fertilized plants). In return, we pay significantly more than the current market price directly to the farmers, thus enabling them to have a reasonable standard of living.

"PachaMama" coffee comes via the shortest and most transparent trade route, so to speak "directly from the farm".
