Organic Cacao Husk Tea

Our organic cacao shell tea comes from directly traded cacao from Chazuta, Peru – a region known for its particularly aromatic cacao beans. Only the shell of the cacao bean, which is normally removed during the processing of beans into chocolate, is used for this tea.

The shells have a pleasantly chocolatey aroma that is reminiscent of dark cacao notes – completely natural and without additives. At the same time, they are rich in valuable nutrients such as magnesium, theobromine, vitamins, and dietary fiber. A calm, soothing tea that is good for both body and mind.

Our tip: Cacao shell tea tastes excellent both hot and cold – as a gentle alternative to chocolate and cocoa.

• Wasser auf max. 80 °C erhitzen
• 3 g Kakaoschalen (ca. 1 TL) in ein Teesieb oder einen Teebeutel geben
• Mit 230 ml heißem Wasser übergießen
• Mindestens 3 Minuten ziehen lassen
• Für ein intensiveres, schokoladigeres Aroma gerne etwas länger ziehen lassen
