First of all... this blend isn't really dark at all, but 'nice medium' just sounds stupid ;)
In addition, Schön Dunkel is a classic espresso blend with 10% Robusta and the counterpart to our ' Schön Hell '.
Our Schön Dunkel consists of 90% Brazilian Arabica Natural and 10% Mexican Canephora / Robusta. We taste a lot of nut and dark chocolate as well as nougat here, accompanied by dried fruit and some cane sugar . Due to the Robusta content, the espresso has a full body and little acidity .
All in all a very round, uncomplicated espresso with a nice sweetness and a soft mouthfeel reminiscent of grape-nut chocolate. Also tastes delicious with milk + oat. Very good all-rounder !
We recommend this espresso blend for preparation in portafilters, fully automatic machines and stovetop pots.
